visually striking c. 1927-31 art deco style five light ceiling fixture, salvaged from a 2nd floor lawndale theater (chicago) lounge room. the exceptional and heavy light fixture is comprised of cast zinc or “gray metal” with the original nickel and metallic gold finish. the five “hand wrought” martele art glass shades have a subtle amber color with frosted and polished surfaces. the intricately designed and deeply embossed shades contain a wonderful arrangement of floral motifs. the fixture is completely intact, with original ceiling canopy and rayon cloth cord wiring. measures 19 x 16 inches. manufactured by the consolidated lamp and glass co.
