original late 1920’s original and intact antique american exterior cedar hotel facade ornamental white glazed terra cotta ornament likely fabricated by the midland terra cotta company, chicago, ill. the single diminutive floriated block with delicate leafage and an allover surface crazing was removed from the facade by a former developer who intended to knock it down. the block contains a single cavity once containing an anchor and mortar/brick for mounting it within the facade. each of the blocks dotting the facade protrude slightly from the brick.
