22 Sep overhaul of urban remains showroom for fall 2013

the urban remains showroom will undergo a mild overhaul during the fall of 2013. additional retired or decommissioned artifacts from my personal collection will be brought over to complement or enhance the existing items already available for sale at the showroom. the core of my collection, consisting primarily of commercial and residential artifacts from notable chicago commissions, will remain permanent fixtures in the bldg 51 museum – and will likely stay that way until i donate the collection to a public institution when i’m older. be prepared to find more folk art, medical oddities, industrial fixtures and unusual signage being added to the already overpopulated and visually straining landscape i identify as the “showroom.”
