rare to find a large quantity (over 200 available) of all original (not the reproductions) american industrial galvanized steel locker room storage baskets designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the locker baskets acquired in recent weeks, are comprised largely of wire mesh with perforated sheet metal back and front panels. the school locker baskets retain the original galvanized finish with light pitting, surface wear and/or rust evident. the flush mount single-side stamped aluminum number identification badges or plaques retain the original baked black enameled finish. the baskets were originally used in the city of detroit public school system. each basket measures approximately 9 x 13 x 8 inches. multiple listings now available on the website. please contact a staff member directly for larger orders.
