i really wanted these prints! very disappointed. i thought for sure i would secure them at the low estimate. however, there just comes a point when you have to step down – they were more “sub-collection” material… at the end of the day, i collect artifacts, not photography, but they would have certainly been a nice addition to my mazda light bulb advertising collection. i believe the hammer dropped around 9 thousand dollars – i backed out when the bid amount reached 7 thousand. i figured, as much as i like these prints, i can use that money towards a sullivan or wright piece down the road. great photos nonetheless. congrats to the winning bidder.
