the ornamental ironwork was executed by the winslow brothers, chicago, ills. the exterior terra cotta was fabricated by northwestern terra cotta company, chicago, ills. kristian schneider modeled the majority of the ornament.

the 13-story steel frame building with terra cotta cladding executed by northwestern terra cotta, was built by the guaranty construction company of chicago, ills. the interior and exterior ornament ironwork was executed by the winslow brothers company.
the bldg. 51 archive recently acquired original exterior copper-plated mullions fragments that were salvaged during an extensive restoration in the early 1980’s.
