26 Apr reexploring milwaukee’s 19th century and 20th century architectural ornament in spring of 2021
images documenting 19th and early 20th century architectural buildings and ornament during first trip (april, 2021) to milwaukee in over a year. i spent the majority of my time revisiting familiar haunts along my “circuit” that arose from several previous trips aimlessly exploring the city’s houses and buildings featuring distinctive ornament i felt needed to be carefully documented.
while the visit was short, i hope the momentum will lead to more frequent trips to build upon my ever-growing archive of milwaukee architecture images of 19th and early 20th century commercial building ornament.
