photographic survey of architect william parker’s exchange state bank and masonic temple (1887), located at 800 rose street, la crosse, wisc.

the well-maintained queen anne style 19th bank building and temple was built by local contractor f.x. de lorean for ten thousand dollars.

the ironwork was executed by the union foundry, chicago, il. the ornamental tie-rod rosettes are a stock pattern made from designs by john edelmann.

a large portion of the temple was demolished in recent years.
