post-fire chicago residence with intact bracketed wood cornice and lightly incised keystones on wolfram street set for demolition

a well-maintained 19th century (post-fire) two-story masonry or brick residence located at 851 w wolfram street in the lakeview neighborhood of chicago, will be reduced to rubble by the end of the week. the green fence was being erected at the time i arrived to carefully record the structure and all of its original ornament, including a fret-sawn wood bracketed cornice, lightly incised lemont limestone keystones, and entrance door jamb. date of construction and occupants will be added when time permits.
