urban remains just completed a west side chicago factory salvage containing a wide assortment of old industrial furniture. we managed to secure over a dozen beautifully aged crank handle die carts designed and fabricated by the hamilton took works. the website contains a small selection, representing the shopworn painted version, or a completely refinished alternative with newly added custom-built wood tabletops. the factory, which specialized in the fabrication and distribution of sheet metal, closed its doors in late december. the “portelevator” style crank cart is nothing new to us. we have sold many in the past. despite their incredible weight and sheer bulkiness, they tend to sell quickly. please take a look at the available carts we currently have online. more to follow as we continue to sort through this latest haul.
