urban remains recently bought out a large assortment of late 19th and early 20th century plumbing fixtures and parts from a well-established plumbing company that’s in the process of closing its doors after nearly a century in business.

based in oak park, the company outfitted, replaced, and restored many residential and commercial building bathrooms in and around chicago. there services were repeatedly used in the restoration of several frank lloyd wright houses, including wright’s own home and studio, arthur huertley house, robie house, and several others in need of restoration or repair over the past several decades.

we secured several several hard to find sinks, toilets, a needle shower, and hundreds of faucet handles, dials, rosettes, and other components made by crane, standard, and the l. wolff company.
