photographic survey (work in progress) of george grant elmslie’s old second national bank (1924), located at 37 south river street, aurora, il.
the sculptures were executed emil r. zettler. kristian schneider sculpted the mottled glazed terra cotta, fabricated by the short-lived advance terra cotta company (later purchased by the northwestern terra cotta company).
the strongly geometric art glass windows were done by the linden glass company, chiagom il.
the buff-colored brick was provided by s.s. kimbell company.
the interior and exterior fixtures were executed by j.s. heath company and c.g. iverson respectively.
