16 Dec flizikowski and kaiser’s german evangelical lutheran church (1896) in the throes of death
latest demolition images of flizikowski and kaiser’s german evangelical lutheran church (1896), located at 2028 north richmond street, chicago, il.

within the next week or two, the church building and adjoining shool will be reduced to rubble and trucked to the landfill. thankfully, the church will live on through images and artifacts, including its time capsules, bell, leaded glass, and other ornamental elements salvaged during its demolition.

the building’s eradication is moving at a rather swift pace.

hopefully the two cornerstones will be saved and join the bell and other remnants.
